Hello MTA – Missoula Chapter!
We’d love to get together before the holiday madness ensues, so we’ve scheduled an Ambassadors event at the University of Montana Innovation Factory on 11/19. For those of you who haven’t heard about it, the IF is a new space located in the 2nd Floor of the UC that will serve as a collaborative workspace, makers space, and entrepreneurial hub for students and the community. We’re excited to give you a first-hand look at the new digs!
In addition, Paul Gladen has arranged for a few students who recently participated in the Epic Ideas Showcase to present their ideas. It’s a great opportunity for us to hear about some first-hand innovations coming out of UM. Maybe you’ll find a student who you could offer a few mentoring hours to help them build their idea into a viable business plan and compete in the Spring Business Plan competition!
Plan to join us at 5:30 on the second floor of the UC. Calendar invitation to follow. Please note that I won’t be arranging for refreshments or snacks on campus, but a group of us may elect to venture across the bridge to Finn at 7, and the first round can be on the Ambassadors.
