Marcell Bruski

Marcell Bruski is the Senior Director of Engagement at Big Sky Economic Development, a role where she channels her passion for brand development, community engagement and values-driven work. Born and raised in a tight-knit town in southeast Montana, Marcell's upbringing was steeped in the values of hard work and integrity. During summers, she worked alongside her father and brother, building barbed wire fences for local ranchers and farmers, instilling in her a strong work ethic.

Her journey led her to Rocky Mountain College, where she pursued a degree in Business Administration. Marcell's professional path began with various roles during her college years, and it was at the Billings Chamber/Visit Billings where she truly found her calling. Starting as an intern, she stayed on after graduation, becoming an integral part of the organization. Marcell managed the youth leadership program and young professional group, connecting with community leaders and contributing to impactful initiatives.

Transitioning to Big Sky Economic Development (BSED) in 2018, Marcell's dedication shone through, leading to her current role as Senior Director of Engagement. In her present role, Marcell is at the forefront of cultural development, marketing, branding, communications, podcast host, workforce development, and entrepreneurial development at BSED. Her leadership in overseeing the workforce development program has resulted in the creation of the "Better Off in Billings" talent attraction and retention brand, reflecting her unwavering commitment to her community. Today, she is the co-host of The Vault at 201 N Broadway, a business podcast.

She is a proud member of the Montana Ambassadors and Certified Gallup BP 10 Coach. Her accomplishments include spearheading a talent attraction and retention website, as well as being recognized in the Billings Gazette's 40 Under 40 in 2023. Additionally, she is a current board member of the Billings Depot, Montana Economic Developers Association, and Downtown Billings Alliance BID Board.
